While on vacation in BC, we visited our friend and colleague Kim who is the Brand Manager for Whistler Blackcomb. Sure if was fun hanging around the village and eating sushi, but we had an opportunity to tour the offices and have a peek as some of the fresh creative Kim has the opportunity to work on.
This weekend is the Telus Ski & Snowboard festival, so we didn’t have much time to lollygag around. One of the premiere events this year is a competition called “If ULLR (the Norse God of snow) was a Girl” in which 16 top end female athletes will compete for the biggest purse ever in a women’s mountain event. It should be a fun weekend, and we did contribute… we got to hang banners for the kick-off to the event – we’re always willing to lend a hand.
It’s worth noting, that as one of North America’s most popular resorts, Whistler Blackcomb deals with many of the same things many of our clients deal with… ad deadlines… copy writing… photography… printing deadlines… they just happen to work 100m from the ski lifts.
